Jérôme Wiss Russian bassoon is in C and is tuned at A 440hz. It comes with six holes and two keys (additional keys available on request). The wood used for the body of the bassoon is flamed maple. This is an original instrument, designed and optimized by computer like all Jérôme Wiss instruments. It is perfectly suited for the early 19th century repertoire. This instrument was made at the request of the instrumentalist Patrick Wibart, in collaboration with the manufacturer of bassoons Yannick Ducasse.
